1981 – The Beginning
Mr. S. Kalandreas starts work as a truck driver for an international transport company. But his ambition keeps him restless. The following year, he establishes Eurocargo, with success as his sole goal.
1991 – 1994
The success of Eurocargo is already a given, so the company establishes a new, privately-owned Logistics Facility in Thessaloniki in 1991, and another Logistics Facility in Athens in 1994.
2000 – 2004
MILLENIUM!
The year when Eurocargo introduces in Greece one of the most advanced barcode-reading systems for consignment management that eliminates mistakes at pick in – pick out.
In 2004, Eurocargo Logistics concludes a deal as a main partner of the Athens Olympic Games. The time restrictions were extremely pressing in regard to transport but once again Eurocargo and its associates proved how reliable they are at what they do, by successfully meeting all their targets.
2005 – Present
Eurocargo’s success in International Transport and Logistics is now a given. The company’s needs keep growing, and so in 2010 it expands to new and larger facilities in Thessaloniki, and in 2019 it acquires its hub storage facility in Aspropyrgos, Attica, driven solely by the desire to better serve its customers’ needs. Throughout the years, the company continues to renew its fleet by adding the most advanced models.
